Making products feel simple, not simpler.
I'm a product design leader who turns messy, half-defined problems into clear, dependable experiences used by hundreds of thousands of people every day. I care about craft as much as strategy, and love building the systems that elevate design teams.
Redesigning how businesses act on their performance with AI coaching
180,000 independent hoteliers relied on Expedia to understand how their business was performing. Conflicting metrics and fragmented views left them unable to trust what they were seeing, let alone act on it. I led the redesign and built AI coaching that summarized performance in plain language and recommended specific, prioritized next actions. Hoteliers started acting on our recommendations three times as often.
Building HEROES, a framework for structured design reviews
Most design reviews are unstructured conversations that default to visual opinions. I created HEROES, a six-lens framework that makes design critique repeatable and rigorous. More than 10 teams at Expedia now use it to run reviews consistently, with or without me in the room. I'm extending it beyond the company as a Claude skill, bringing structured design thinking to anyone without a design team.
Creating a shared design language for data-heavy experiences
Expedia had no standards for data visualization. Teams built dashboards and charts however they wanted, and hoteliers got an inconsistent experience depending on who built them. I led the company's first data visualization design system and partnered with a principal engineer to make it the default for every data-heavy surface. Shared components and design tokens now cut feature development time by 70%.
